Drama - that is all I can say. Let me just give you a little inside to this.
I called Kamini as usual, to make arrangements for a cake for DK's (my daughter) birthday cake and as usual there is a theme, but this time around because it's her 7th birthday, the boys are not too keen on eating "pink" on the cake so we have to do a duo. I told Kamini I will confirm and revert and yes I did revert, on Saturday morning (the day of the party) forgetting that I had to confirm with DK. I asked Kamini how was she doing with the cake, and yes, you know what response I got from the other side and in the same conversation she said "come and collect a cake around 1.00pm". Have you ever seen this or had this? From previous experience I can tell you that if you (as the customer) messed up you would have to pay big time,and in the legal environment this will be regarded as "urgent" and you pay "urgent" costs. May I just add that Saturday, 17 October 2009 was Diwali and Kamini pulled out all the stops and I may I just say that I paid under R300 for all of this. I think I will have to stop here or else I can go on and on. My family and I would like to thank you for the delicious cake that was made in less than 4 hours. My guests thoroughly enjoyed the cake and when the heard the story about the cake, they told me "no" and I asked them to visit your sight so that it can be clarified. I will make sure that there isn't a slip up next year!

Hi Kamini,
So sorry for the late response but I must tell you that the Tiger cake that you made for Danika’s birthday was the best. I was actually shocked when I realized that the kids attacked the cake after the birthday and finished it. I am really fussy about chocolate cake and found this to be divine. Usually you have so much of cake left over that you end up giving huge pieces away to your guests just to get rid of it but I was quiet embarrassed when I couldn’t even give away a little piece away.
Just wanted to say thanks and it actually gives me piece of mind that I have eventually found somebody capable of delivering things to my expectations |
